Science Expo...

We left for the sciene expo after flag on Friday afternoon. Grades 7-9 went with us 3 farang teachers and 2 Thai teachers. Once on the bus lunches were handed out. I decided to eat mine right away so that it wouldn't be sitting at room temperature for too long. Then Yuji, a grade 7 student, gave me a ham and cheese croissant which was pretty tasty. The bus ride about 45 minutes or so. As we neared the impact arena it became apparent that many, many buses were going to the same place as us, and hundreds of buses were already parked around the arena. We had to walk about 15 minutes to get inside. Have you ever been in a small elevator with about 8 people in it? Now just apply that density to a big room the size of many gyms and you have yourself a nice science expo. Seemed like every school in Bangkok was having the same field trip as us. All you could really do is drift around with the crowd. We met at the entrance at 1 and headed back to school. I had a half hour left of a my prep then I had grade 6 for the last period. After school I went to a nearby mall and read in a coffee shop for a couple of hours while enjoying a couple mocha shakes. Some sweet music was blaring from a hair dresser's so I decided to get a hair cut. Headed back to GES, got some pizza. Then watched an Imax and a Discovery channel video about volanoes with Craig and Michelle. Did some reading then headed to bed. Tomorrow I'm headed to CCC. I think they are having a potluck after and then I plan to go swimming at the pool with Craig and Michelle and whoever else.
